This web site is dedicated to the charity relay race that runs from Emsworth to Basingstoke across the Hampshire countryside. The last race was held on Saturday 13th May 2023.

The next race will take place on 11th May 2024. The charities will be the same as in 2023.

The purpose of the relay (apart from having fun) is for teams to raise money for the years nominated charities (see below) in addition to the race entry fee. A suggested sponsor form is available for download, or you can setup your own JustGiving or similar page.

Please note, diversions on Leg 11:

The normal route at the top of Noar Hill on Leg 11 is closed due to Ash Dieback work. This can be avoided by taking a short diversion along an alternate path to the left, then turning right crossing the field a few hundred meters further on along the path following the hedge line to re-join the original path. This diversion is very clearly signposted with arrows.

A second diversion is in place a little further along as you approach Charity Farm. The path is not physically blocked here, but work has not been completed and there is a clearly marked diversion in place. Please follow this diversion by turning right at the arrow where indicated going down the hill turning left to join a bridleway just before the farm. Go past the slurry pit and past the tank keeping the tank on your left down the track to the road. At the road, bear left and take an immediate right and follow the road until you reach the original handover point at the end of leg 11.

Please follow the diversions on the map above shown in red.

The start time will depend upon entries and will be included with your entry pack you receive before the event. This is likely to be between 9:30am and 10:30am depending on the number of teams entering and your teams speed.

This years charities are the Chichester District Foodbank and Heartburn Cancer UK

The organisers would like to thank everyone for the money raised in 2023 which is being divided equally between the two charities. The total money raised was close to £3000 with this being split equally between the two charities.
